Theory Help Andrew's Driving School
The DSA theory test is designed to test your knowledge of driving theory, It is important to revise for this test, and if you have any questions or if there is anything that you are not sure of then ask me and I will do my best to help.
As from 23rd January 2012, there are some planned changes to the theory test, there will still be 50 questions with multiple choice and the pass mark will remain the same at 43 out of a possible 50. However the main difference is that the DSA will no longer be publishing the questions.
The new reworded questions are designed so that you gain a better understanding of driving theory, rather than simply memorising the questions.
Hazard perception test
As well as the theory questions you will also have to complete the DSA hazard perception test, which consists of 14 short video clips, contain at least one developing hazard - but one of the clips will feature two developing hazards A developing hazard is something that may result in you having to take some action, such as changing speed or direction. The earlier you notice a developing hazard and make a response, the higher you will score. The most you can score for each developing hazard is five points.
